		<description>I think people are fooled by Ben&#039;s personality.  He kind of comes across as a big, goofy, laid-back dude.  But in reality, I think he has a KILLER competitive streak.  That would explain why he excels at these other sporting events.  

Actually, the Steelers are blessed with two guys like that, Ben and Hines.  Both seem to be nice, friendly types (Hines is always smiling) but I&#039;m pretty sure either one would lay out their Grandma if it meant winning the game.</description>

		<description>Yeah, you gotta&#039; hand it to Ben for getting the Steelers back on track this century.  He&#039;s like Pete Sampras was (if you&#039;re into tennis)...deadly in the clutch.  You really don&#039;t want to get his back up to the wall, as that&#039;s where he pulls out his best stuff.

Like that play in the last Super Bowl where he was scrambling for what seemed like 10 minutes, evading the rush, when he suddenly does a 180 and hits Heath Miller for a first down in a key drive.  

I think the motorcycle wreck made him a better player, even though it really did a number on him that first season back.  Either that or just the maturation that comes with age has made him mentally a tougher player.</description>
