JD, glad you enjoyed the post. Related to my previous comment, you’re exactly right about our special teams. Our D has been doing the job. If the Steelers can stop giving up cheap points on special teams returns or Pick Sixs, these games wouldn’t be as close as they are. Against a top notch team like Minny, those kind of mistakes will certainly doom any chance we have of winning.

O, I admire your confidence. I’m cautiously optimistic. That is a great point about the defenses, though. Baltimore’s unit is way overrated while we’re still ranked #3 even with Troy only playing basically one game. If they can limit the Vikes to one TD like they did the past two weeks, that would be VERY impressive.

It looks like this battle will take place in the air. It’s about time we take on a real SB contender to prove ourselves to the league. I can see LeBeau mixing it up on defense and Arias doing his thing on offense, but we better get things right on our special teams that have been suspect and win the turnover battle..

Bret Favre will need a resurrection after this week. He will be fed a steady diet of turf come Sunday. He will wish he retired last year for real. If the Vikings thought they played a tough defence last week then there in for an awakening this week. We are still rated the third best defence in the league,that is with Troy not playing. This week I see the defence coming back to the form we saw last year. Nobody comes in to Heinz field and comes out in one piece.
