So I refused to pay it any attention. NFL players are complete idiots. When a WR runs over the middle of the field, DBs are taught to take their head off. But if a WR wipes out a DB on a sweep or something, they're dirty? Gimme a break. People don't like playing against him so much and are so scared to be on the same field as him that the have to hate on him. Look at the list again and Troy is in that list as well. It is just "players" that wish they were as good as Hines Ward. The answer is yes the NFL has lost it. If being the best at your position in every aspect makes you a dirty player then yes Hines is a dirty player. Hines Ward happens to be my favorite Steeler and i don't think he is dirty one bit.
