Andrew, I am pretty shocked by that statistic. I'm sure it's true but for some reason it seems like Ben's done that a lot more recently than 2007. Chalk it up to my Steeler Fan Brain probably exaggerating picks on the 30 yard line as being in the end zone.

Which isn't to say I don't think Ben is doing a great great job. The fact he seldom enters into the MVP discussion makes me want to punch every football guy at ESPN right on the nose.

Cecil, I was also very surprised by how well Ty Carter played. Especially since he did a pretty poor job when he was replacing Troy earlier this year. Then again, it's a lot harder to do what Troy does than replace Ryan Clark.

And I appreciate your enthusiasm but I don't think I'd want to win out the rest of the year. That kind of team usually flames out in the playoffs. I will definitely take a win this weekend, though.

Just wanted to say I get what you meant about Ben's turnovers hurting. But in honesty, he hadn't thrown a Redzone pick since October 07. Thats a loooong time ago.

Yeah, it does seem like he gets pick 6'd a little more than others. I think a lot of times though its on those short routes where theres miscommunication, and nobody is available to chase down the INT.

Overall though fantastic game and I'm looking forward to securing the division lead this week.

I hate to say this, but technically we're not tied with Cinci, since the Bengals beat us previously. Based on tie-breakers (as they stand today), the Bengals are in first place (pukes in mouth a little).

Big, big win for the Steelers. As you said Chris, this was a statement game, and the statement that we made was, " Look out, Cincinnati." Both teams are coming into this game, as Tunch Ilkin likes to say, feeling 10 foot tall and bullet proof, so we are going to see one of the best games of the year. If we win this game, we are in complete control of the division, and personally I think that we could win out for the rest of the season if that happens. For right now, all I can say is great job, and Ty Carter is pretty darn good after all.
