I can't speak to yesterday since I avoid the NBC wrap-up show but Steelers talk was all over ESPN on Monday. All their talk shows (Mike & Mike, Around the Horn, PTI) mentioned the team's great start and everybody was showing VY getting german suplexed that I posted above. Skip Bayliss, who hates everything, even said the Steelers have the best defense in the NFL. I agree! Oh, I don’t think you’re right about that Zam. However, if you were to watch any of the coverage...you'd think the Titans had won. Almost no Steeler highlights outside the 'burgh on TV yesterday. Any team can sign a player off another team's practice squad. Of course I'm sure you already knew that being such a fountain of info and all. As for Leftwich, you are correct he was re-signed this afternoon. I think re-signing him now is kinda pointless since they only need a QB for two more games. Unless Leftwich is fully recovered or Dixon's knee sprain is more serious than it seems, I don't see why they'd bother starting one of two injured QBs when you have a perfectly healthy Batch. Instead, he is free to sign with any team and I'm assuming the Steelers made a deal with him to re-sign him after they put McLendon back on PS.
