Plus, it's not like any other player has been slapped with 1/2 the fines Harrison has. At this point, I think they need to pick their battles and fighting for one player who is unfairly being singled out doesn't seem to be a priority. I agree about watering down the product but if they want to change it, that's their right. My only beef is if you're going to fine a guy $75k for blasting a receiver, then you should fine the guy who stretchered out a receiver the same amount and/or the guy who sucker-punches people even more. It's not as if it's just Harrison and the Black and Gold being affected. Rulings are out of whack across the board. It's good to hear that Ryan Clark is contacting the NFLPA office to start some communications. While I think the rules are watering down the product it would at least be nice for players to know from one week, hell, one hit to the next what is punishable or not.
