I didn't want to use the "T-game" word for fear of jinxing the Black and Gold but this has all the makings of one. They'll be up for the Jets and I can see a first round bye hanging in the balance as possible motivation for pounding the Browns in addition to being a rivalry game. This is really the only game I can see them falling asleep on and, as you say, the Bungles have just enough talent for it to bite them. Exactly my feelings, Ben. From all the evidence we've seen this season, they learned from last year's mistakes and don't take anybody lightly. If you just take 2010 on its own merits and forget about last year's debacle (which, admittedly, took me awhile, too), they really have beaten all the teams they were supposed to beat this year. Hell, they beat Atlanta with DENNIS DIXON at QB and everybody is anointing them the best team in the NFC. Yeah, the “taken crappy teams lightly” thing is so last season. I see the Steelers coming to play against the Jets, crushing the absolutely inept Panthers, and wanting to close out strong in a (lopsided) rivalry game versus the Browns. But, the Bengals are actually more talented than their record indicates, and have constantly stayed in games just to find a way to lose late. I really hope the Steelers come out in Eff You Mode and destroy them for the Bengals winning the division last year, but I'm worried they may overlook the Bengals in preparation for a big game against the Jets.
