Poor Big Ben, it must just be horrible to be “assaulted” by the media for actions, that were clearly not his own….

As an aside, I don’t believe (for many reasons) that it is appropriate that the media asks about his personal life.

I do agree with you that it will be some “media-type” that will attempt to make themselves famous by asking a series of uncomfortable questions.

However, “Ben’s made his bed, now he has to sleep in it”.

Actually…the Packers thought a ring outscored a picture any day and put players that were – you know – going to play, first for TLC and spotlight…(Finley and Barnett obviously didnt see eye to eye on that one)

…and I fail to see why the Packs “internal problems” should be used to attack those that attack the Steelers?! To my knowledge, nor Buzz (talking Hot-dog) or King (talking Cup of coffe) are employees of the Packers, which kind of makes your anger misplaced, yet perfectly understandable. If anything, the press should be digging into what your RB whispered into the ears of your QB when he was mounting his leg after the Ravens game – NOW THAT would be woth reading!

I agree. The media dog pile will be hard and heavy.
I saw Big Ben respond to a few “off field” questions last night while being mobbed by media and he did a pretty good job of deflecting them. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that all of the Steelers keep their mouths shut and don’t say anything stupid to fan any flames internally or externally. The next few days are the worst part of the Super Bowl prep as TMZ style sports writers look for any kind of an angle or offhanded comment that could create a distraction for either team. It’s not about sports reporting right now, it’s about out of context sound bites and nonsense. Stay focused Stillas. Don’t give them anything to turn around on you.
