So fine him and at the very least send the message that if a player feels the need to call their wife to let her know he's ok than do it in the locker room and not on the sidelines. But this amount is absolutely ridiculous. The only message this sends is that Goodell picks these fine amounts completely out of his ass with no regard to common sense. Absolutely ridiculous.
