Dont’a HIghtower. Dude’s a freak, and he could come in and replace Potsie Farrior from day one. I just have a feeling that he would be a huge help. I know this isn’t a conventional pick, that normally I would say offensive Guard, but Dont’a HIghtower is my pick.

Mark Barron S, Alabama! While safety may not be the biggest need for the Steelers, it is still on the list. Being a Crimson Tide fan when it comes to the NCAA, I’ve seen plenty of Mark Barron, and he is a special player. Many times I have been watching a game and thought about Polamalu, when Barron would blowup a run play in the backfield or get some crazy interception. Will he live up to the standards Troy has set in Pittsburgh? Maybe, maybe not. He definitely has his work cut out for him. However, he would be an excellent addition in the secondary, and IF he is still there at number 24, would highly likely be the BPA.

Its back to the Bowl next year. Anybody who doesn’t think so is SMOKING bowl!

Steelers have to get deep at O-Line. With the best reveiver core in NFL and Ben turning 30 we have to protect and give him time to get ball down field.I say we grab Mike Adams OG from Ohio State and then go cornerback in the 2nd round. Dre Kirkpatrick if available would be ideal for Steel Curtain style. Feel he is going to be a future pro-bowler. If he is still there in 1st round I think he would be a great pick and Pitt could just goCB in the 1st and then O-Line in 2nd. However, if Dre is gone,O-Line in 1st and then a player like Alfonso Dennard from Nebraska would be good pick in 2nd.

I would love to pick up LaMicheal James in 3rd. Feel he is gonna be a sleeper and under Kirby’s guidance (god willing) “prayers are with you Kirb” LaMicheal would be a great compliment to Isaac and Mend when he comes back. I would even explore trading Mendenhall and seeing what kind of draft picks we would pick up for him! Bottomline is we need to beef up the O-Line, get a corner who can play at or close to Ike’s level and D-line is always good to load up on. I am very high on next season. I love the Haley pick up and excited about the draft. Colbert proves year after year why he is the best at what he does. 2012 is Steelers year. Go get #7 boys……

Its o-line or d-line, my pick is d-line with NT Dontario Poe. Casey Hampton is in the twilight of his career, and big 3-4 NT like Poe doesn’t grow on trees. This player can anchor a young D-line for years to come. The other great thing is his name, didn’t Edgar Allen Poe write the “Raven”, that means we will be the author and finisher to the “ratbirds” season.
