Sun, 30 Dec 2012 06:16:14 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.4.1 http://nicepickcowher.com/2012/03/10/solid-options-at-ilb-for-steelers-post-round-1/comment-page-1/#comment-2053559 DomDiTolla Thu, 15 Mar 2012 21:23:55 +0000 http://nicepickcowher.com/?p=12324#comment-2053559 NC State's Pro Day is next Wednesday.  I almost added Franklin to the list, but I decided 4 would be enough, but he could be of value in Round 5.   If the Steelers don't trade back in Round 1, Hightower should be the pick though.  Experience in the 3-4 at position specific ILB, experience in the S.E.C., size, and can play almost right away should factor in the most, and he's gotta be high on their list of BPA's at #24.  It would be asinine to stay at #24 and overdraft somebody if Hightower is still on the board.  Plus, Glenn, DeCastro, Poe, and Cox (who fits better as a 5-Tech as opposed to a 0-Tech NT) should be off the board by then anyway.  No O-Lineman is worth a 1st Round pick after Cordy Glenn is taken in my opinion.   The only guy at #24 that I can see the Steelers realistically taking though with the players available to them besides Hightower is Mark Barron.  NT's can be found later like Ta'amu, Hicks, Jean-Baptiste, and Fangupo, and this Draft is loaded with Guards from Rounds 2-5.  This is probably the Draft that the Steelers would get the most bang for their buck if they trade back though. If you like London Fletcher, he may be your man.
