That is 3 years worth of franchise tags. Yes Ravens need Rice but they paid a steep price to get him. Only 2 other Rb got more guaranteed, CJ & Ap. The out year of the contract are years 4-5 were Rice only gets 6 mill. That is fine if you believe Rice will play for that much if he is still at that level.
