Here we are already at Week #3 in the NFL season. Goes fast doesn’t it? The NFL has a record 20 teams sitting at 1-1 after the first two weeks of the season. Seems like those ’72 Dolphins won’t have much to worry about as far as protecting their perfect season, especially it being the 40th anniversary. Speaking of anniversaries, the Steelers will travel to Oakland to revisit an old rivalry that has lost some luster since the Immaculate Reception (40 years ago this December) but has some new spice thanks to Richard Seymour’s punch to Ben’s face in their last meeting. Who would have thought the only winless team in the NFC after two weeks would be the Saints? Actually, I did. I think the lack of a head coach has been seriously underestimated when considering how successful the Saints can be this season. Will they pull out their first win this week? Have we all gotten tired of these Thursday games every week yet? I took the title of Week 2 winner with 12 games and we are pleased to welcome Andrew and Lori as the staff newbies. As always, feel free to join in and pick with us, or voice your opinion of how bad or obvious our picks are.
Here are our overall standings:
