Starter: Le’Veon Bell
Kevin Colbert has said countless times that you can’t expect better than 8-8 if you don’t make changes to your team. One area of the Steelers that never seemed to click last year was the running game. Jonathan Dwyer seemed to be taking over against the Bengals and Redskins, but he became injured and lost his momentum.
The current roster up until this week seemed to be a group of backups/role players. On friday night, the Steelers might have finally found their feature back in the young man out of Michigan State. Le’Veon Bell has work horse written all over him, and he can be a three down running back. Dwyer is seen as the potential starter, but it was reported early today that Dwyer was on the trading block, almost solidifying the fact that the Steelers see Bell as their starter in 2013.
