1. The Titans overhauled their offensive line during the offseason with loads of personnel through free agency and the draft. How much success will the new additions have this fall?
Titans fans are expecting a lot out of newcomers Andy Levitre, Rob Turner and Chance Warmack. Chris Johnson finished the preseason with 20 carries for 155 yards. Unlike the last couple of seasons, there was a nastiness present among the interior offensive linemen. New running backs coach Sylvester Croom has gotten Johnson to attack the line of scrimmage and not dance around in the backfield for losses.
Last season, Fernando Velasco was a starting center. He may have been the third-best offensive lineman on that team. The Titans kept nine offensive linemen for this Week 1 game. Velasco didn’t make the final cuts.
