The Steelers made their way to London successfully and now set their sights on leaving the city with a win. There’s going to be a lot of coverage on this game for being one featuring to win-less teams. Here’s what’s being said about your Pittsburgh Steelers around the block and from across the pond:

Ike Taylor charming reporters

The team addressed some European media following their arrival to London. Steelers CB Ike Taylor, won the room with his charm. Taylor was immediately entertained by the accents of the reporters, which in turn, entertained the reporters. According to Dejan Kovacevic of the Trib, Taylor was first asked a question but he responded with, “Man, I love ya’ll accent.” After that the room broke out into laughter and he said, “Say that again?” More laughter. When he was asked what he’d enjoy most about the experience of being in London Taylor had some royal hopes for his trip.

"“I’ll tell you what:  I would love to meet the queen. The head lady.” – Ike Taylor"

Steelers and Vikings A to Z

Aditi Kinkhabwala of nfl.com gave us every reason to watch what would otherwise be considered an unwatchable game of two winless teams through the letters of the alphabet. Her greatest hits include “D is for Defence” because that’s how it’s spelled by the Brits and “O is for 0-3”, which is where both teams are and neither team wants to fly home at 0-4.Kinkhabwala also reminds us that “S is for Steeler Nation”, which means that even though this is technically a home game for Minnesota, expect to see mostly Steeler fans waving their Terrible Towels around Wembley Stadium.

Steelers slight favorites

Jason La Canfora of CBS sports is picking the Steelers by a point and a half on Sunday afternoon over the Vikings. In his opinion, the Steelers offense is bound to improve now that Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger have started to connect. Also, he doesn’t see a whole lot of change the Steelers defense will have to adjust to with the news that Matt Cassel will start for Christian Ponder on Sunday. La Canfora just can’t see the Steelers losing four in a row. Hopefully, him picking the Steelers won’t be the kiss of death.
