90 minutes prior to kickoff, the Steelers and Patriots inactives were announced. There weren’t many surprises as it seems to be the same group of guys as most weeks, other than those injured.

Steelers:

 QB Landry Jones

 WR Markus Wheaton

TE Richard Gordon

NT Hebron Fangupo

CB Curtis Brown

G: David DeCastro

LB: Kion Wilson

Patriots:

OL Chris Baker

DL Jake Bequette

WR Josh Boyce

WR Kendrell Thompkins

RB Leon Washington

CB Aqib Talib

LB Steve Beauharnais

Analysis:

There are really no surprises here since the only difference on this list from last week is that David DeCastro is inactive. As expected Guy Whimper will start in DeCastro’s place at RG. Mike Adams and Cody Wallace are the top back-ups at the tackle and guard positions.

The best news from this is that Ramon Foster did indeed pass his second round of testing that he took late in the week, which was the same test Jarvis Jones failed, making him inactive for the Ravens game in week 7.
