NPC’s Week 10 NFL Picks

Think you can pick winners better than the NPC staff?
Here we are at Week 10 in the NFL Regular Season. It’s going by fast isn’t it? Here at Nice Pick Cowher, we are not only a bunch of nerds who follow the Pittsburgh Steelers tirelessly, but we are also a bunch of nerds who follow the NFL tirelessly. Therefore we put our money (or maybe just pride) where our mouths are and make picks on every NFL game each week. We don’t mess around with point spreads or anything like that. Just straight up picks.
The Steelers are back home at Heinz Field this week, fresh from their 55-31 drubbing in New England last Sunday to face the 3-6 Buffalo Bills. The good news is they’re back to being the early game on Sunday so, you know, you can do more stuff besides sulk after the game on Sunday. That’s a plus. There are some interesting divisional matchups with Detroit taking on Chicago for the top spot in the NFC North, Denver comes back from their bye to face San Diego and the Bengals and Ravens will face each other in a game we hope no one wins. The Monday night game is interesting simply because of the two train wrecks of teams in the Dolphins and Bucs are matching up against each other in a battle of dysfunctional locker rooms. The Tampa Bay locker room has a MRSA outbreak but seems less toxic than Miami’s with all the bullying nonsense that is coming out. I’m sure the dozens of professional football fans in Florida are dying to get into that stadium for that Monday night showdown.
Last week there was a four-way tie among the staff for the victory with 8 winners. Congrats to Dom, Craig, Scott, and Jim. Don’t congratulate yourselves too much fellas because Jenn, our reader participant, beat you all out with 9. I still have a firm, but slightly slipping grasp of the overall lead.
