2. How much has Pittsburgh’s former defensive backs coach Ray Horton helped the Browns this season as their defensive coordinator? Is the best still yet to come with Horton at the helm?
Wow, Ray Horton came in and was able to get everyone on the defense to very easy to pass on if you’re avoiding throwing to Haden’s side. I name three or four more guys that have benefitted from Horton coming in, and to answer your last part, I think the second half of the season and beyond this defensive unit may become the best in the leaguebuy into him and his scheme and it has been paying off big time. There are quite a few guys, who have elevated their game to a new level with the knowledge and guidance Horton brings to the game. He has really tapped the huge potential of cornerback Joe Haden, and believe it’s safe to say that he may be the leagues best corner right now. On the opposite of Haden, Buster Skrine has excelled under Ray Horton and has developed into a very good young corner, who is not.
