With every day comes more Steelers related information and we will continue to have you covered.  Here are some Pittsburgh Steelers stories to get you through the day.

Steelers vs. Bills at St. Vincent College

The Steelers announced, along with the Bills, that the two teams will have a home and home practice scrimmage series during the 2014 and 2015 training camps.  The dates of the scrimmages have not yet been set, and they will wait to be set depending on the NFL preseason schedule.  This is a welcome addition to the preseason/training camp circuit and should provide some excitement.

Players Rising and Falling on the Steelers’ Draft Board

Over at Bleacher Report Steelers and NFL Draft writer Curt Popejoy has come out with his most recent article on the Steelers’ draft interests.  He mentions a few, 8 to be exact, prospects who are rising and falling on the Steelers draft board.  Among the notable risers are Justin Gilbert and Eric Ebron, and among the fallers are Taylor Lewan and Mike Evans.  I am not so much of a fan of Gilbert rising up the boards, but I do like the idea of Lewan and Evans falling.  He also brings up Carlos Hyde as a riser up the boards.  I don’t think the Steelers dip into the running back pool early enough to get Hyde, but if he for some reason falls to the Steelers compensatory pick in the third round he could very well be an option.  The draft is still over a month away so nothing is set in stone and it’s important to keep an open mind.
