Steelers season goes all year long so whether we’re breaking down free agency signings, predicting the possible draft choices, or looking around for mentions of your Black & Gold we’ve got you covered. Here’s what’s being said about your Pittsburgh Steelers around the block.

Moore on going from Brees to Ben

With the offseason workouts in full swing the new guys are getting the chance to adjust to the South Side facilities along with their new teammates. Newly signed WR Lance Moore is adjusting to receiving passes from Ben Roethlisberger as opposed to his former quarterback, Drew Brees. As Mike Prisuta reports, Moore has been keeping tabs on Roethlisberger for a while.

"“He has a strong arm. He throws the ball down the field really well. I’ve watched him since I’ve been in the league. The Steelers play on TV all the time. Even in New Orleans we get to watch you guys play.” – Lance Moore"

Steelers players on NBA controversy

The controversy going on in the NBA which led to Commissioner Adam Silver dishing out a lifetime ban to Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling definitely encompassed the entire sports world. Even Steelers players who were participating in the offseason workouts commented on the situation and how it made them appreciate the ownership in Pittsburgh and value the experience of playing for the Rooney family.

"“I’m very blessed and humbled to be part of an organization that values their workers. It’s just an unfortunate situation with what’s going on out there. A lot of organizations can learn from it and just grow from it.” – Cameron Heyward"

Anyone in Dallas who wants to finally get rid of Jerry Jones would be wise to start recording him ASAP.

Ryan Clark interview

Seems as though Ryan Clark is not going to leave well enough alone when it comes to responding to the comments made by Antonio Brown on how wrong it was for Clark to throw his Steelers teammates under the bus to bolster his ESPN segment on marijuana use in the NFL. Clark has scored an interview with KDKA’s Bob Pompeani to address the “beef” even more and get some more camera time apparently. Guess things were a bit busy in Bristol this week for Clark to get his own segment again so he had to go to the local media.
