New Faces

Heath Miller spoke to Teresa Varley about all the changes the Steelers have made this offseason and how those changes are taking shape in OTA’s. Miller is still trying to get back to 100% following a knee injury at the end of the 2012 season that kept him sidelined for the first three games of 2013. He explained how the OTA’s are not only good for players coming back from injuries, but also for the new guys to mesh with the old guys.

Brett Keisel to return?

ESPN’s Scott Brown is looking into a comment made by Heath Miller with regards to the possibility of a Keisel return to Pittsburgh. Miller reminiscing on playing with older veterans like James Farrior and Aaron Smith, who both played well into their 30s when he mentioned that Brett Keisel was “not here right now” and also played into his 30s. Kind of a stretch, if you ask me, to say that could mean Keisel’s return is imminent. But, Brown makes a good point when he says that Keisel would make an excellent tutor to 2^nd-round pick Stephon Tuitt. I just hope if Keisel does return; it’s not to fall into the old habits of veterans keeping the younger players off of the field. If the Steelers drafted Tuitt to be a starting defensive end, he should be a starting defensive end.
