Steelers season goes all year long so whether we’re breaking down free agency signings, recapping the draft choices, or looking around for mentions of your Black & Gold we’ve got you covered. Here’s what’s being said about your Pittsburgh Steelers around the block.

Roethlisberger excited about offensive line

With a lot of roster turnover this offseason there has been continuity in one surprising place on the team; the offensive line. Seems like it’s been the first time in years that there wasn’t a glaring need to draft a lineman high for the Steelers. According to Larry Harstein of CBS Sports, Ben Roethlisberger is among those excited to bring back the same group of lineman as last year. The biggest reason; running the no-huddle. Without continuity on the line, the no-huddle doesn’t stand a chance of becoming more comfortable with it and using it as the base offense.

"“That’s a big part of being able to run the no-huddle because those guys are up there and they’re comfortable, they’re familiar. They’ve got another offseason in training of continuity and learning from each other. I tell them before each game that they are what is going to drive this team and this offense. As long as they stay healthy and can play every game we’ll be good.” – Ben Roethlisberger"

Odds don’t favor Steelers

Per Scott Brown at ESPN, the odds makers at Bovada aren’t impressed with the changes the Steelers have made this offseason and are placing their over/under win total for 2014 at 8.5. Scott Brown has a more optimistic projection of 10 wins for the Steelers in 2014. Bovada had the Steelers down for 9 wins and winning the division in 2013 so just remember that this is a guess, and it’s still only May.
