Steelers season goes all year long so whether we’re breaking down draft choices, recapping OTA’s, or looking around for mentions of your Black & Gold we’ve got you covered. Here’s what’s being said about your Pittsburgh Steelers around the block.

Terry Bradshaw being an a-hole again

Former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw has had an up and down relationship with the city of Pittsburgh since he won four Super Bowls with the Steelers in the 70s. It’s also reported that his relationship, even as of late, with the late Chuck Noll was not great. But, as the news broke late last week that Chuck Noll had passed, tons of Bradshaw’s former teammates came to the area to pay their respects. According to 93.7 The Fan, Bradshaw was in the area as well, but to perform his one man show, “America’s Favorite Dumb Blonde” in Washington, PA at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino. Not only did Bradshaw not attend the viewing or funeral where Joe Greene and Steelers President Art Rooney II served as pallbearers for Noll, but it’s reported that he also hasn’t contacted Marianne Noll, Chuck’s widow, to pay his respects to her.

Steelers to wear patch honoring Chuck Noll

The Steelers were already set to honor and celebrate the 40th anniversary of their first Super Bowl win from 1974 this season. Unfortunately, they’ll also have to pay tribute to one of the men most responsible for that Super Bowl victory, Chuck Noll. According to ESPN’s Scott Brown the Steelers will wear a patch for the entire 2014 season in memory of the iconic coach, who passed away on Friday night at the age of 82. There will also be a separate celebration still, during their Nov. 30th home game versus the New Orleans Saints to commemorate the Super Bowl IX victory.
