Steelers season goes all year long so whether we’re previewing training camp, predicting roster moves, or looking around for mentions of your Black & Gold we’ve got you covered. Here’s what’s being said about your Pittsburgh Steelers around the block.

Get to know Cam Thomas

Mike Prisuta continues his series of pieces highlighting the new members of the Steelers. His latest installment features defensive lineman Cam Thomas, acquired via free agency this offseason by the Steelers. Thomas is in his 5th year in the NFL and so far his biggest impression of Pittsburgh and the Steelers organization is the history and tradition. He’s looking forward to trying to contribute to adding to the Steelers already impressive trophy case.

Steelers most likeable franchise

Fox Sports did an interesting piece relating to the World Cup and how some Americans have shown allegiance to soccer teams across the globe. So they ranked NFL teams in terms of likeability if any international soccer fans overseas wanted to jump on the NFL bandwagon and wouldn’t you know they ranked the Steelers as the most likeable team in the NFL. Their reasoning is simple.

“They win consistently, which is nice. But they don’t take shortcuts to success, as the Steelers don’t buy their championship rosters. There’s something honorable about rooting for a team that is loyal and has work ethic.” – Cover 32 staff
