Steelers season goes all year long so whether we’re previewing training camp, predicting roster moves, or looking around for mentions of your Black & Gold we’ve got you covered. Here’s what’s being said about your Pittsburgh Steelers around the block.

Mike Munchak = stud

According to ESPN’s Scott Brown, the happiest person at the Steelers facilities when the team announced the hiring of Mike Munchak as the new offensive line coach wasn’t one of the lineman, it was Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley. Now’s the time for all you Todd Haley-haters to start thinking of reasons why you cannot be ok with Munchak anymore because you’re not allowed to be on board with anything Todd Haley likes. Haley did a bit of gushing about having Munchak join the coaching staff.

“Really nobody was happier when Coach Tomlin, Kevin Colbert and Mr. Rooney were able to pull off getting him to come on board. He’s a great teacher. He’s great at what he does, the best in the league in my opinion. He seamlessly transitioned into our staff. He’s a stud.” – Todd Haley

Dri Archer ready for big role

Around the League’s Marc Sessler caught up with Steelers rookie Dri Archer and tried to get a feel on just what the fastest player in the NFL Scouting Combine might be doing for the Steelers in 2014. While it’s tough for anyone to see Archer getting the majority of snaps at running back or receiver right off of the bat, it’s pretty obvious that he’s going to be a threat on special teams as a kick returner. His speed and versatility is hoped to come in handy this season for the Steelers to do just about anything they throw his way.

Steelers bumble bee throwbacks…best uniforms?

The pants just kill it for me. Can’t get over the pants with those stripes. Awful.
