Exp. 2yrs.. David DeCastro. 66. player. 55. David DeCastro is Pittsburgh’s not so favorite guard.  A knee injury to the start of his rookie season in 2012 kept him out of the lineup until the last four weeks of the season.  His return during the same season was a bit of a surprise, but he never really settled in during those games.  Fast forward to 2013, and DeCastro had a shaky start to that season .  Not of his own ability or achievement – rather he ended up chop blocking his own teammate, Maurkice Pouncey, and knocked Pouncey out for the entire season.  DeCastro is probably praying for a better start than his last two seasons, and he will need it as well.  The Steelers want to employ the run zone blocking scheme, and he will be an integral part to its success.  DeCastro will be expected as the anchor to the inside.  DeCastro has his hands full of making the non-believers turn the corner on him as a mainstay on this offensive line for this season and for years to come.  .
