Friday Night Fight

So far in camp there had been no fights between the players even after there were a few reported scuffles during OTAs. Perhaps the team was waiting for the bright lights of Latrobe Memorial Stadium to get a bit feistier but as the PG’s Ray Fittipaldo reports; Vince Williams and Le’Veon Bell went up against each other in the backs-on-backers drill and continued to fight after going to the ground where Williams landed on top of Bell. LeGarrette Blount, who was not participating and was in street clothes, ran to the field in defense of Bell, leading to a brawl between the two squads. Here’s the best part, Steelers Assistant linebacker coach Joey “Peezy” Porter came in and pulled Blount off and was actually there to stop a fight. Crazy.

All well with Vince Williams
