Steelers Morning Huddle 8/14/14

Just like that training camp has already made it through the first week and a half.  It is now closer to it’s end than to it’s beginning.  Here is some of the news and some of the stories coming out of Steelers camp.

Greg Warren May Be Seriously Injured

Greg Warren left Wednesday’s joint practice with the Buffalo Bills early with what Mike Tomlin said could be a potentially serious leg injury, according to Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.  Warren has already torn both of his ACL’s in his career, so he is no stranger to serious leg injuries.  Warren is being evaluated and according to Tomlin more information will be available tomorrow.

Practice Report: Day 14

Over on Steelers Depot, Alex Kozora recapped day 14 of Steelers training camp quite nicely.  Among the injuries for the day were Matt Spaeth, Jordan Zumwalt, Vince Williams, Jarvis Jones, and Ramon Foster sitting out.  Le’Veon Bell, Ryan Shazier, and Michael Palmer were all limited.  The first players out of the tunnel were Brad Wing and Shaun Suisham.  Suisham notably was doing some punting.  Jason Worilds had a great practice in pass rushing drills against the Bills offensive line.  Will Allen, apparently had one of the best practices on the defense.  Markus Wheaton continued to impress in camp.  There were a total of two fights/skirmishes between the two teams.
