Steeler Nation, are you ready for some football? The Steelers 2014 season kicks off today at Heinz Field against the Cleveland Browns. Just as Mike Tomlin said in his weekly presser

"“It’s Cleveland, its AFC North football, it’s at Heinz and it’s our opener. If that doesn’t turn you on you don’t have a pulse.” – Mike Tomlin"

The Steelers are hoping and counting on a fast start in 2014 and the NFL couldn’t have made it any easier for them by giving them the Browns at home for Week 1. The Browns have lost ten consecutive games at Heinz Field. On the other hand, the Steelers haven’t won their season opener since 2010.

There’s been more than enough talk about whether or not the Browns will employ Johnny Manziel in some or even a few of their offensive packages for this game. Now’s the time we get to see it on the field.

The Steelers will honor the late Hall of Fame coach Chuck Noll prior to kickoff and at halftime as well as they will be debuting their helmets for this season with the decal bearing his initials. Get your Terrible Towels ready! Let’s do this Steeler Nation!
