Each week as the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for their matchup we will go behind enemy lines to get the scoop on the team they’re facing with a member of the FanSided Network. Today we have Daniel Lago, editor of Black and Teal, giving us the info on the Jacksonville Jaguars. He discusses the comparisons between Blake Bortles and Ben Roethlisberger, the chances of the Jags reviving their rushing game against the Steelers, the confidence level in Jags’ head coach Gus Bradley, and even a prediction for the game.

From a fan’s perspective, how do the comparison’s that are flying around between Blake Bortles and a “young” Ben Roethlisberger stack up?

Obviously the Blake-Big Ben comparisons are pretty lofty, but there is some validity to them. Like Roethlisberger in his early years, Bortles shines by making plays outside the pocket and when the play breaks down. He’s big, strong, keeps his eyes down field, and appears to be a natural leader. Blake has a long way to go, but he has a pretty good example to model his game after in Big Ben.
