NPC’s Week 6 NFL Picks

On we go to Week 6 of the 2014 NFL season. As of Week 6 there are no undefeated teams but there still are two teams yet to win a game. We’re looking at you Oakland and Jacksonville. I’m sure they’ll get it together soon, right?

Here at Nice Pick Cowher we are not only a bunch of nerds who follow the Pittsburgh Steelers tirelessly but we are also a bunch of nerds who follow the NFL tirelessly. Therefore we put our money (or maybe just our pride) where our mouths are and make picks on every NFL game each week. We don’t mess around with point spreads or anything like that. Just straight up picks.

The Thursday night games continue to be epic blowouts so the pressure is on for Indy and Houston to make an exciting game out of it this week. Some divisional matchups on the schedule other than the Colts at Texans include the Jaguars at Titans, Lions at Vikings, Patriots at Bills, Chargers at Raiders, Giants at Eagles, and 49ers at Rams.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a divisional matchup of their own with a little AFC North road action against the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers won the previous meeting in Week 1 off of a last minute field goal by Shaun Suisham. This will be the 124^th meeting between the two teams going back to 1950. The Steelers have won 14 of the previous 17 games and will be looking to secure their fifth consecutive win over the Browns and 11^th regular season sweep, going back to 2000.

Levi was your Week 5 winner, but he won’t get the chance to repeat because he didn’t get his picks in on time. Therefore I just went ahead and assumed he wants the Oakland Raiders to win all fifteen games on the schedule. Good luck Levi! I stand alone at the top of the overall standings, as it should be. Here’s where I separate myself from the pack.
