Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns: Final Injury Report

Here is the final Pittsburgh Steelers injury report for their week six game against the Cleveland Browns. 

Safety Shamarko Thomas will not play today due to a hamstring injury.  Taking Thomas’ place on special teams and defense will be Pittsburgh native Ross Ventrone, who was just signed from the practice squad.  Ventrone previously played with the New England Patriots.

Linebacker Ryan Shazier will remain out for the third straight week due to his knee injury.  He did practice twice this week on a limited basis.  Ike Taylor also remains out with his broken forearm.

Other players inactive for the Steelers are quarterback Landry Jones, defensive tackle Daniel McCullers, wide receiver Martavis Bryant, guard Chris Hubbard,

As for the Browns, they will be without a few key defensive players.  Lineman Phil Taylor (knee) and Billy Winn (quad) were ruled out earlier in the week.  Paul Kruger will play after showing up to the Browns facility on Thursday with a back injury.  Cornerback Joe Haden will also play despite being limited in Friday’s practice with a hip injury.

Other inactive Browns  include, WR Rodney Smith, CB Pierre Desir, RB Terrance West, DL Ahtyba Rubin, TE Gerrell Robinson.
