Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Houston Texans: Final Injury Report

Here is the final Pittsburgh Steelers injury report for their week seven game against the Houston Texans.

Steelers starting nose tackle Steve McLendon (shoulder) will miss tonight’s game forcing rookie Daniel McCullers to be on the game day roster for the first time in his career.  Stephon Tuitt may also play a larger role in the defense with Brett Keisel (knee) and Cameron Heyward (ankle) being listed on the injury report as probable this week.  Ike Taylor (forearm) and Shamarko Thomas (hamstring) will remain out for the Steelers once again.

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier will not play for the fourth straight week.  Shazier was listed as questionable with a knee sprain after being limited in practice throughout the week.

Martavis Bryant has finally been given a helmet this week as Justin Brown is inactive. Other players inactive for the Steelers are quarterback Landry Jones, guard Chris Hubbard.

As for the Texans, the number one overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft Jadeveon Clowney will not play for the sixth straight game after his early season knee surgery. Clowney was listed as questionable all week and Texans coach Bill O’Brien said Clowney would be a game-time decision on Saturday.

Texans cornerback Darryl Morris is out with an ankle injury.  Linebacker Mike Mohamed will play with a calf injury despite being listed on the injury report as questionable.

Other inactive Texans include QB Tom Savage, T Jeff Adams, DB Josh Aubrey, WR DeVier Posey, and DB Jumal Rolle.
