The Pittsburgh Steelers have a short week for Week 8 in the NFL coming off of their Monday Night Football win to face the Indianapolis Colts. The Youth Movement
The Steelers rookies played a big role in the Monday night win over Houston, says Mike Prisuta. For Stephon Tuitt, Martavis Bryant, and Daniel McCullers; each rookie either made their first contributions to the team or saw their snaps increased. Daniel McCullers, a sixth-round pick from Tennessee, played nine snaps on Monday night in his first NFL experience. Nine snaps better than anything Cam Thomas has done so far on the field this season, in my opinion.

What would you say you do here?
Speaking of rookies and their impacts on the team we’re still searching for the impact that third-round pick Dri Archer is supposed to be making with his super speed and return skills. Now it’s always premature to grade a draft pick this early but, as ESPN Steelers reporter Scott Brown points out, the pick for Archer in the third round doesn’t make any more sense now than it did on draft night considering how little he’s provided to the offense and special teams. Archer has 37 rushing yards on seven carries and nine passing yards on four passes after missing two games with an ankle injury. He’s also good for zero yards and a scream at the TV whenever he’s fielding a kickoff.
Former Steelers LB Woodley out for season
The Pittsburgh Steelers parted ways with linebacker LaMarr Woodley in the offseason after several injury-plagued, nonproductive seasons and he was signed by the Oakland Raiders in their offseason attempt to sign all the available washed-up players they could. Unfortunately for Woodley, however, after making minimal impact through their first six games his season is finished with a torn biceps muscle according to Dan Hanzus of Around the NFL. Tough break.
