NPC’s Week 10 NFL Picks

The NFL goes back to London again this week. At this point it’s not even interesting anymore. Double digit weeks on the NFL calendar means things are going to start getting a lot more interesting. Who had the AFC North pegged as the most competitive division in the league this season?

Here at Nice Pick Cowher we are not only a bunch of nerds who follow the Pittsburgh Steelers tirelessly but we are also a bunch of nerds who follow the NFL tirelessly. Therefore we put our money (or maybe just our pride) where our mouths are and make picks on every NFL game each week. We don’t mess around with point spreads or anything like that. Just straight up picks.

The Thursday night game features a matchup of AFC North foes the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Cleveland Browns. A win for Cleveland would actually put them tied for first place with the Steelers. The divisional scheduling has been so funky this season the Bengals have actually only played two divisional games so far, both wins over Baltimore, so this division is anything but decided yet. There are another six teams on a bye this week, one of them being New England which means that we won’t have the pleasure of watching Tom Brady throw up super impressive stats only to then see Ben Roethlisberger completely blow them out of the water later on in the day. I’m sure we’ll manage somehow.

The Steelers are traveling to New Jersey to take on the New York Jets. The Steelers are preparing to not let their guards down against the 1-8 Jets while Jet fans are preparing to see an invasion of Terrible Towels in Met Life Stadium. Not like the Jets have given their own fans many reasons to show up to games so far anyway. If Ben tosses another six touchdowns this Sunday I think Steeler Nation will collectively loose it. I know I will.

We had a four-way tie for the win of Week 9. Craig, Anthony, Jason, and I all had ten wins and I got to inch a little bit closer to the overall lead, which Justin still has sole possession of.
