Pittsburgh Steelers Pancake Art: New Sunday Breakfast Ritual

facebooktwitterreddit

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a rather iconic team logo that is recognizable by many around the world.  You’ve seen it on all sorts of stuff – shirts, hats, beanies, Terrible Towels, tattoos, underwear, etc.  Now, you can scratch another one off the list.

Pancakes.  Check it out.

You might have seen other pancake art but nothing that included the NFL before.  The pancake artist is Nathan Shields and he does a ton of pancake art.  He’s gone ahead and cooked up pancakes of all 32 NFL teams logos.  Want to check out the rest of the AFC North division?  Check out Shields pancake creations of the Steelers rivals here.  We’re running a little poll over at FanSided to see who has the best pancake art.  Feel like having a word about what looks best – head over to the pole and cast your vote.  Let’s see how the Steelers stack up (see what I did there?) against the rest of the NFL pancake logos.

Think you have what it takes to make your own Steeler logo pancake?  Think you can make one better looking than what Shields cooked up?  Go ahead and try your hand at it and post your results in the comments section or post them on Twitter to @NicePickCowherC and use the hashtag #SteelerPancake.  We would love to see how you measure up against the real artist, or what other Steelers themed pancakes you become inspired to make.  No matter how many times you fail while experimenting – the outcome will always be delicious.

Just make sure you have enough syrup!
