NPC’s Week 13 NFL Picks

There’s nothing better than a full NFL schedule. The bye weeks are over and we can feast on NFL action from today all through the weekend. Particularly today, on Thanksgiving, we can feast on football from the appetizers through to your second piece of pie. So many teams in the playoff hunt there aren’t too many games on the schedule that don’t matter.

Here at Nice Pick Cowher we are not only a bunch of nerds who follow the Pittsburgh Steelers tirelessly but we are also a bunch of nerds who follow the NFL tirelessly. Therefore we put our money (or maybe just our pride) where our mouths are and make picks on every NFL game each week. We don’t mess around with point spreads or anything like that. Just straight up picks.

Your Thanksgiving early game with feature an NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. The Lions find themselves behind the Packers for the lead in the NFC North division race, after failing to beat New England last week. Your mid-day matchup is a NFC East divisional matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, sure to be a good game with both teams at 8-3, jockeying for the NFC East title. For the evening matchup we have a rematch of last year’s NFC title game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers and I think I speak for most NFL fans when I say I don’t give a crap what Richard Sherman has to say about anything anymore. I’m beyond over it.

The Pittsburgh Steelers return from their bye week to host the 4-7 New Orleans Saints in a pivotal game to keep them in the race for the AFC North crown. The Steelers will also be honoring the Super Bowl IX Champion Steelers for the game.

Justin was your Week 12 champion and now has a commanding overall lead. This stops now as I refuse to let my title fall so easily. I’m coming for you, Justin!
