The Steelers will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field.  The Steelers (9-5) are poised and set to nab a playoff spot with a win this weekend.  A win this weekend would mean at least the 6th seed in the Wild Card slot.  A win for the Chiefs (8-6) puts them in the 6th seed temporarily with hopes of holding onto that spot with another win in Week 17.

The Steelers are heating up after a very convincing win against divisional rival Bengals.  There are big signs that this offense can be a juggernaut – they just need to find the right combination of plays, personnel, and execution.  That triangle has had one week point for many games this season.  If they plan on making a strong playoff run, they’ll need to have all three of those things clicking.

The Chiefs, who just last season surprised most folks with a very strong showing over the course of the season, have stumbled along the way this year.  Rattled by injuries, the offense has struggled and has needed every effort from the defense to pull out wins.  That defense will need to be in high gear on Sunday if they want to have any chance of defeating the offensive prowess of the Steelers.

Here are some interesting facts that you may not know about the two teams that may influence the matchup this Sunday.
