Pittsburgh Steelers vs Chiefs: Gametime, TV, Radio

facebooktwitterreddit

The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Heinz Field Sunday afternoon.  The Steelers (9-5) look to stamp their ticket to the playoffs with a win over the Chiefs.  A win will guarantee them at least the 6th seed and perhaps better depending on how things shake out with the rest of the NFL in Week 16 and their battle with the Bengals in the season finale.  It’s been a while since the Steelers have been in a position like this.

The Chiefs are fighting for their own playoff lives.  At 8-6, the Chiefs are trying to scrap together a few wins in order to nab one of the two Wild Card spots before the season closes out.  Boy, wouldn’t it be sweet if the Steelers could throw a wrench into those plans and get a little revenge since the Chiefs were partially responsible for keeping the Steelers out of the playoffs last year?

The Steelers and Chiefs will be shown on CBS in the early bird slot.  For the second time in three weeks, the Steelers will be seen on a faux national level with only select areas on the East Coast and Texas viewing their local teams.  For the second week in a row, Steeler fans draw Greg Gumble and Trent Green as their play by play and color commentator.  Ugh.  Last week against the Falcons, those two were huge Falcons sympathizers and called a pretty terrible game.  I’m not really looking forward having to put up with them again.
