Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Final Injury Report

Here is the final Pittsburgh Steelers injury report for their Week 16 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Steelers will be without two defensive starters today as Troy Polamalu (knee) and Ike Taylor (shoulder/forearm) are inactive after being listed as doubtful on the injury report. Polamalu did not practice all week, while Taylor participated on a limited basis. Will Allen will replace Polamalu and Brice McCain will fill in for Taylor for the second straight week.

James Harrison will play for the first time in two weeks after recovering from a knee injury. “I’m probably as close to 100 percent as I’ve been the last two weeks,” Harrison said after practice on Friday.

Right tackle Marcus Gilbert will also be on the field for the time in three weeks. He was listed as probable with an ankle injury.

Tight end Matt Spaeth is inactive after hyperextending his elbow against the Falcons. Spaeth was listed as questionable on the injury report after only practicing Friday on a limited basis.

As for the Chiefs, who had only two players listed as questionable, Tamba Hali will play today with a knee injury. Hali did not practice on Thursday or Friday. Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe will give it a go today after missing the entire week of practice with an illness.

Inactive Chiefs include QB Aaron Murray, WR Donnie Avery, CB Marcus Cooper, RB Charcandrick West, C Eric Kush, OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, DL Nick Williams.
